David Poole, Dave Mirfield & Luke Maude set off at Saturday tea time and spent a very cold night in the back of David Poole's van. It was a cracking race in very cold conditions. Ted Mason of Wharfedale put in the fastest first run to get to transition first. But after that, Dave Mirfield was too fast on the bike for him and also put in a faster second run to win the event for the second time, with Ted coming home second. Dave Poole finished in 5th place and Luke was 17th after having a very lazy Xmas.
