Des Walkden took part in the Half Marathon and reports on his day as follows:
Competed in The Pendle Family Running Festival Road Half Marathon, a tough 1800 ft of climb run around Barley / Pendle Hill. The event was very well organised by Molly Ralphson (Trawden) and run around the beautiful setting of Barley. Only a small field of 63 entered this first year. I finished 15th in a time of 1.47.27. A good warm for Hendon Brook next week.
