Report from Dave Poole (Edited ... fully report on fb)

In true relay fashion last minute changes were needed, man of the moment Matt Watson left his favourite teddy at a 5k and his return made him miss the relay. The only clear remedy for this was to team up the ageing duo of balding pin ups Thomas and Jimmy. After a night in his kennel with a bowl of haribo Jimmy was raring to go and they got the fastest leg time. The mens team also got fastest leg time on leg 2. Our very own zoolander Gaz Shaw made sure Nick didn't get an easy time of it and they ran a cracking fastest leg. Meanwhile the B team were busy trying to get done for public exposure, pissing everywhere and playing Pokemon Billy Haines. It's clear Andy Collins is growing his hair ready for a matching mullet cut with Bez!!  Livers stepped in with Bez aka Joe exotic, luckily it was a short leg as I'm sure I saw a few drops of blood coming from his poor ears. The after leg 4 in the ladies race action woman herself was stamping round complaining to the organisers and waving her guns! Turned out the team she thought may be cheating wasn't a ladies team but in fact a mixed team. Luckily nobody can tell what she is talking about so it all went unnoticed. There was also confusion at the end for the ladies, an extremely minor wrong turn was mentioned and I actually feared for my life. Jax was not happy and it was clear that you don't annoy Mrs Collins. I ran the last leg for the B team with Ben Whitehead and I can confirm that he does cry like a baby. Between the tears and sobbing I heard, heat and covid jab but I passed him a tampax and cracked on. Cracking day, great running! Good to get teams back out and hurting themselves!
