Those of you with a good memory may recall that Emma Bailey picked this, her first marathon, as a charity raising event. She made her cause a contribution towards a new, state of the art, scanner at the Yorkshire Cancer Centre. The good news is that thanks to Emma and others like her, the target of £2.4 million has now been reached. This will push the treatment at the cancer centre to an even higher level for the benefit of future cancer patients.
