A tough course for the U12s & U14s, but perhaps the U9s could have done with more of a challenge. However, it was a good result for Chloe Boothman & Evie Scott in that race who came home in first & second positions.

The winner of this race was Chris Miller from Harrogate. The couple of Barlickers finished:
4 Julian Hood 37:27
16 Shaun Chew 39:55
167 ran.
A bit late with this one, but would you believe that it has taken this length of time for the results to appear. Anyway, Chris Smale had a great race to finish in 2nd place, only thirty seconds behind race winner, Gaz Pemberton from Wharfedale. Not bad for a V50.
For a change it was a lovely day for this race, with a clear blue sky greeting the runners at the start. There were fewer runners than normal this year due to the Championship Race taking place at Tebay, but the closer friendly atmosphere was a useful reminder of how fell races used to be.
The main aims of the club are to increase the participation of running in Barnoldswick and to keep organised running as accessible as possible.
