As there was no local fell running today, Robert Cranham went over to Leeds for what should have been a 9 mile race. Robert was amongst the leading group who all went the wrong way due to a sign pointing in the wrong direction and this led to them all running an extra 2 miles. He finished first out of that leading group, but 12 overall. A bit disappointing, but that is the way that it goes.

There is life in the old dog yet. Nick Treitl took part in the BOFRA championship this year and he only entered the minimum number of races. Fortunately, he was first M40 in each of those races and as a result, he was became the 2025 M40 BOFRA champion and was presented with his award at the BOFRA Presentation Dinner held at the Rolls Royce Club.
