Training

The Club's aim is to facilitate a variety of sessions throughout the week to cater for all abilities, each week details of the sessions are posted on our Facebook page - Barlick Fell Runners - Public Page

Monday Social Run

The meeting place varies, but this is always posted on Facebook, along with what footwear is needed and usually the route. 
 
All abilities are welcome to the run which is at a sociable pace, with no one left behind. 
 
Tuesday Speed or Hills with Matt Watson

Usually meeting at Barlick Cricket Club, the sessions are posted on Facebook in advance. 
 
These sessions can be used to supplement a member's own training regime, and are structured in a way that enables everyone to run at their own pace/effort 
 
Wednesday Pub Run

These are informal sessions and cater for all abilities.  Each week, those taking part meet up at a local hostelry, have a gentle running session lasting around an hour and then retire to the bar to sample the local ale and chew the fat.  Everyone is welcome on these runs including none members, in fact, they are a good way to get to know the ethos of the club and decide if it is for you.
