A good day out for BFR taking first place in both the men's and the ladies' races. Tom Corrigan continued with his recent sizzling form by comfortably taking the win from Horwich runner Sam Fairhurst, with a couple more Barlickers filling the top ten places..
Lucy Brown battled with her form earlier in the season, but her dogged persistence and determination paid off today by taking a comfortable win in the ladies race.

On a beautiful, but very warm and sticky evening, the Barlickers were led home by Jethro Whitfield. Jethro had a strong start, climbing well. He got too hot crossing the fields at the top, so he slowed and recovered, and then kicked in again to finish strongly. Andrew Smith had a strong run, winning the Vet 60 category.
