A good atmosphere, a great route and a well organised race greeted the three Barlickers who turned out for this race. Julian had a good run to finish in 4th place, as did Emma Bailey and only a windy second half stopped her missing her PB by 5 seconds.

A great run by both Barlickers in this race. Wharfedale's James Hall and Barlick's Craig Shearer approached the summit together at the front of the race and at that point, there was nothing to separate them. However, on the return, James managed to open up a gap and he ran out the race winner, but these two were in a personal battle of their own and both finished way ahead of the chasing runners.
Only a little further down the field, another battle was going on and Andy Berry managed to split the Wharfedale pair of Fred Maier and Stuart Hunn to finish in 6th place.
2 Craig Shearer 23:59
6 Andy Berry 26:38
72 Virgil Barton 2:38:00

The main aims of the club are to increase the participation of running in Barnoldswick and to keep organised running as accessible as possible.
