Numbers were up for these races on those seen in recent years which is nice to see.
The senior race was won by Tom Corrigan, just pushing local and former race winner Jimmy Craig into second place, Close behind these two was John Whiteside of Trawden who managed to push Jonny Bradshaw down into fourth place.
The ladies race was won by Emma Taylor of Accrington Road Runners, with team mate Deborah Gowans finishing second and Lorraine Slater of Barlick finishing third.

This is an 8 mile/ 2001 ft race, with a couple of demanding climbs over the moors above Littleborough. Our only representative was Richard Treitl who was 79th out of 87, with a time of 1:50:06.
The race was easily won by U17 Matthew Mackay of Rossendale ahead of V40 Ian Willis of Keighley & Craven. First home for Barlick and 1st V50 was Chris Smale in 4th place overall and another good run by Rachel Villiers saw her finish 2nd woman.
