Another good night, but perhaps one where everyone should have had a head torch. The dark seemed to affect some runners, even those with head torches. On the other hand, several runners shook off the effects of the dark and recorded PBs. It was good to see junior member Elliot Halliday give it a go and record a sub 30 minute time.
This race saw another good performance from Rachel Lowther and a first for Lloyd Davies.

Stuart Bryan actually entered this race as a Barlick Fell Runner and he finished in 190th position in a time of 4:17:23.
This race took place at Arley Hall, Northwich. It was a very well organised event on fast, flat country lanes, which for the most part were closed off. With the still, warm weather, the conditions were ideal.

The Ilkley Triathlon is a Sprint Distance event with a 500m indoor swim, followed by a 14.5km bike (3x laps of a 4.8km circuit) and a 4.8km run (1x lap of the same circuit). The swim was indoors.

This race was first organised by Rev Andrew Proctor, the vicar of Kelbrook Parish Church in conjunction with a garden party held in the grounds of the vicarage, with the profits going towards church finances.
This duathlon is a 10K run, a 22K bike ride, finishing with a 5K run. Des Walkden went down for this event, which he says was really well organised. The weather was shocking, but he was very happy with his time of 1:54:01 and an overall placing of 62nd and 7th in his age category.
